I'm one of the 'lucky' many that get to deal with a thyroid disorder. Even though I went to a doc with 'text book' symptoms I was ignored and told to go home. Once my condition progressed to a life threatening stage I was finally diagnosed and given THE treatment that was to cure me and a medication that would make everything just like normal. That should have been the 'fix all', right? Well, turns out that it wasn't. I went for the next decade dealing with docs that cared little for my symptoms and failed to properly treat me.

Eventually I went out and started learning more about this myself, in the process I ended up becoming more and more involved in helping others to learn more about their conditions, available treatments and medications

I won't go into detail with this here, it's too involved, and I'm too passionate about it and end up getting wordy.... So I'd like to share the short list of signals that our bodies use to tell us that we need to take a closer look at how things are going and invite to you to read more and/or ask questions.

Thyroid disorders are becoming more and more common due to environmental and dietary influences especially if you have hereditary issues involved.
